Transmarine Navigation seeks bright, energetic person to fill position for Vessel Boarding Agent in Houston, TX office. This operations position involves coordination and dispatching of all details involving the movement of tankers in Texas ports. This work includes communications with vessel Master, ship operators and charterers, dispatching of pilots, tugs, linesmen, coordinating berthing with terminals, scheduling inspections by governmental agencies, conducting Customs entry and clearance, and handling owners matters such as storing, bunkering, and crewchanges. Experience handling chemical tankers is preferred. Position requires some night and weekend work. Vessel Boarding Agent Apprentice/Documentation Bellingham, Washington

Transmarine Navigation seeks bright, energetic person to fill position for Vessel Boarding Agent Apprentice/ Documentation Clerk in our Bellingham WA office. The position will be an assistant to the other operations staff by helping with documentation while training to be a boarding agent. This operations position will train for coordination and dispatching of all details involving the movement of ships. This work includes communications with vessel Master, ship operators and charterers, dispatching of pilots, tugs, linesmen, coordinating berthing with terminals, scheduling inspections by governmental agencies, conducting Customs entry and clearance, and handling owners matters such as storing, bunkering, and crew changes. The applicant must be drug free and have a good driving record. A car is required but will be compensated for business use of. Computer knowledge and office equipment familiarity helpful.
