How long have you worked at Transmarine? 23 years and counting!
What’s something you enjoy about your job at Transmarine? As an accountant, it’s always gratifying to close vessels and work with a variety of customers. I love the daily challenges and issues I have to work through, it keeps me thinking and learning all the time.
How would your coworkers describe you? I believe my coworkers would describe me as “personable, reliable, and easy-going.” Our accounting team gets along so well together and feels like a second family to me! Also, I’d like the think they’d describe me as a hard-working person who does everything possible to ensure that we deliver the best quality work.
Tell us about an exciting or interesting project you worked on at Transmarine. We recently transitioned our accounting processes into a new Abraxa and Acumatica system, which is already helping us close vessels faster and more professionally.
How long have you worked in the industry? I joined Transmarine right out of college, which was 23 years ago!
What is your professional background before you started work at Transmarine? I worked at retail stores throughout college, then I joined Transmarine after graduation and never looked back.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time? Hmm… I like to grab coffee with friends, listen to soft music (and sometimes sing along), and cook great food for my loving family!
