We provide the complex logistics and communications required to move our principals’ deep draft vessels in and out of port. We work with local terminals, regulators, and port service providers to coordinate safe and efficient calls of liquid bulk, dry bulk, and break bulk ships.
Our Vessel Managers coordinate and dispatch port services, suppliers, and governmental authorities while keeping vessel owners, operators, and charterers constantly informed of the status of their vessel. Periodic night and weekend work is required, as is the possession of a TSA-issued TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential). Attention to detail and ability to multi-task are musts.
Our Documentation Specialists provide critical, time-sensitive import/export documents and clearances pertaining to the valuable cargoes onboard the ships.
Our Accounting Specialists provide key functions, including detailed disbursement accounting and settling accounts with local port vendors and our principals.
Computer literacy, mastery of the English language, and the passing of an initial and random drug and alcohol screenings are required. Vessel Managers must have the physical ability to board ships at berth and at anchor via ladders. Vessel Managers also need their own reliable vehicle and a clean driving record to attend vessels in the field.
We are an employee-owned company. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, 401k, and auto allowance. Maritime industry experience is helpful but not required. Salary is dependent upon experience. Applicants must be able to legally work in the United States.
